In 2003 my good friend Fosta and I had decided we going to try to be commercial song writers and off the back of this rose this Christmas song “I Often Feel Like It’s Christmas Day” (I mean I don’t, but nice sentiment)
It won the BBC Radio Liverpool Christmas Song Competition (I know, I know, a pinnacle of musical achievement!) in 2003. It’s proper cheesy, with bells, kids (our respective children) and a “get up off a Westlife barstool” key change.
So in short Merry Christmas, wrap your ears around this!!
